Tim Fowler

My name is Tim Fowler, and it is an honor to be a Board Member at Large. I joined the club at the end of 2015 after relocating to the Saint Louis area earlier in the year from South Carolina. My foray into triathlon started as a nearly 380-pound guy that sought a change. Coupled with that and unrelenting encouragement from my co-workers at the time, I jumped into the sport head first and haven’t looked back since. I joined the club at the encouragement of some of my friends but I never expected to find such a diverse group of all athletic abilities and talents coming together like a family. The support and encouragement I have found within the tri club is second to none.

When I am not training and racing, I have a job. Surprising I know! Who really has time for a job and racing?!?!? I am fortunate to working in the information security world and love it. Between my job, my ever-growing desire to learn, and training/racing, I don’t have much of a life but its more than enough for me!
