When: 10/8/16 at 9a
Where: Lewis and Clark Trail, Weldon Spring
Join me for what should be a beautiful fall day on the trail! The leaves should be turning, the weather cool, and views of the river spectacular. We’ll meet at the trailhead in the parking lot, which will be on your left as you travel south on Highway 94, just past the Mound. Trail lengths of 5 and 8 miles are possible–I’ll be doing the 8 mile loop. Trail shoes are recommended but not necessary. This is a beautiful–but also difficult–trail: lots of elevation changes, and the trail isn’t always well-marked. All paces welcome; no one gets left behind. We’ll go as slow as necessary to allow everyone to enjoy the trail. This event is weather-dependent. We are good stewards of our natural resources, and we won’t run if the trail is newly wet. Note that this is not a Tri Club sponsored event. It’s just me running and looking to have some company. Hope to see some of you there!
