Odyssey SwimRun Casco Bay

• Long course: 4.5 miles (total) OWS (ocean bay), 17 miles trail run (total), 11 islands
• Short course: 2 miles (total) OWS (ocean bay), 10 miles trail run (total), 6 islands

Solo option on short course.

SwimRun consists of multiple swim/run legs, basically by island hopping. Support is minimal. All participants are in two-person teams. This is not a relay, both participants must stay within a maximum distance of each other (and are usually tethered).

Sunday Morning Swim - Whispering Hills Clubhouse

We have reserved the Whispering Hills Clubhouse pool every Sunday morning from 8am to 10am. This is a 25 yard pool. Enter the clubhouse through the side door (closest to the main parking lot) that leads to the fitness area.

Note that we need to be out of the pool building at or as close to 10am as possible. So plan your arrival to ensure you have enough time to complete your swim and any post-swim activities(showers, etc) by 10am.

The majority of Sundays will be open swim so bring your own swim plan. Special sessions or clinics are typically held during the winter and early spring months and will be announced ahead of time.

The pool may remain closed during inclement weather (snow and ice).

The pool may also be closed in order to not conflict with attendance at local triathlons such as the New Town Triathlon and the St Louis Triathlon (to name a few).

We will do our best to post a closure announcement on the club’s private Facebook group as well as here on the website.

You can RSVP for this swim below but it is not required to attend. Space in the pool will be provided on a “first come, first serve” basis.
