Join us for a clinic that will review the 3 phases of the running stride, and practice form exercises and drills to reinforce proper engagement of the running stride. The clinic will be held at Gay Field on a track. Running is a very repetitive motion and many of us like to “zone out” and just run. But it is important to keep good form, be aware of bad form issues, be as efficient as possible, and prevent injury so we can keep running!
This clinic will be led by Andy Joggerst, an accomplished cross county runner with experience in training, coaching and competing in the Midwest. He has CSCS and USATF certifications, and has earned a B.S in Sports Management, with an emphasis in fitness and wellness, from Southwest Baptist University. In addition to owning and operating Everfit, Andy is also assistant coach for Whitfield School’s Cross Country and Track teams. He has led Whitfield’s men and women athletes to the Missouri State Cross Country Championships every year since 2009.
