USAT Duathlon National Championships - CANCELLED

2020 event, previously moved from 05/30-31 at Tuscaloosa, AL to 10/16-17 at Lake Huvasa City, AZ, is now cancelled. 2021 event will be held May 22-23, 2021 at Tuscaloosa, AL.

Standard Distance (Non-drafting, Saturday)

• 9.62k run / 41k bike / 5.15k run

Sprint Distance (Non-drafting, Saturday)

• 5k run / 20.5k bike / 2.85k run

Sprint Distance (Draft Legal, Sunday)

• 5k run / 20.5k bike / 2.83k run

All three races are National Championships.

No qualification is needed to enter.

The Standard Distance is the qualifier for Team USA Standard Duathlon (which is non-drafting)  at the  2021 ITU Multisport Festival.

Both Sprint races will be used as the Team USA qualifier for the Sprint Duathlon (Draft Legal) at the 2021 ITU Multisport Festival .

Note: Long Course Duathlon Championship and Qualifier will be contested at the USAT Multisport Festival in Miami,.

• 750 m open water swim / 21 km bike (draft legal) / 5.1 km run

Olympic (non-drafting) (Sunday)

• 1500 m open water swim / 41 km bike (non-drafting) / 10km run

Mixed Team Relay (draft legal) (Sunday)

• Four members, order: female. male, female, male
• 250 m open water swim / 5 km bike (draft legal) / 1.2 km run

2020 event, previously moved from 04/03 at Tempe, AZ to 10/16 at Lake Huvasa City, AZ, is now cancelled. The event will no longer be contested and high school athletes are encouraged to participate in the USAT Youth & Junior National Championships.
