Due to weather, conflicts and a low RSVP count for the June 29th date, the Board has decided to postpone the Club Picnic until August or September. More info to follow once a date, time and place have been set.
Join us for the Annual Club Picnic taking place on June 29th at Buder South Park in Valley Park beginning at 3pm.
We will aim to have food ready and begin eating at 3:30pm.
The Club will provide the main course – meat and non-meat options such as hamburgers, hot dogs and/or brats, garden burgers and/or portabellas. Beverages will also be provided.
We are asking for Club members to help out with appetizers, salads, sides, chips, fruit, desserts … whatever picnic “fun food” you would like to bring and share.
Also, if you have any fun games suitable for an outdoor picnic, bring them along!! We are planning to have some organized games with prizes … a mini “triathlon” with a twist on each event and a hula hoop showdown. We hope to also have washers and/or cornhole games for people to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
Come when you can and stay as long as you would like! There is a playground for kids and we have the shelter until sundown.
