Creve Coeur Lake
Well, as my first official duty as Group Training Coordinator, I offer this up.
It’s supposed to be really nice day (for January in St. Louis), Saturday. So, how about a group ride? Get your bikes disconnected from your trainers, fill those bottles, air up those tires, and let’s meet in the parking lot across from the boathouse (where the sculling club operates from – not the Lakehouse Bar & Grill) for a ride. Temperatures are predicted to be in the mid to upper 50’s, light wind and sunny. I’ve set this at 1:00 PM, but that can move around. If we want to turn it into a mini brick, we can run around the lake. It will probably be crowded near the lake, so we’ll head over to St. Charles, past the Page/364 lot and into the hills near the river bottoms.
No drop ride, all levels are welcome. I’m thinking about a 2 hour ride, but that’s flexible, too. Bottom line is to get some Icy Iron bike miles in.
For those too far away, I would encourage you to get out. Maybe Forest Park, or the MCT?
Bookings are for St. Louis Tri Club members only, please login to RSVP.
