Saw a flyer for the Rec Plex indoor tri series.
Short course - 300 yd swim/10 mile bike/3 mile run
Long course - 500 yd swim/15 mile bike/5 mile run
$15 in advance
$20 at door

Sundays at 5:30pm
Nov 6, Nov 20, Dec 11, Dec 18, Jan 8, Jan 22, Feb 12, Feb 19, March 11, March 25

I'm a newbie and the sum total of my experience has been one (1) of the St Peters RecPlex indoor training events - which means I can't help much since I have literally nothing to compare it to! True, the bike never actually goes anywhere and not much danger of crashing, and the running is on a treadmill, but at least for someone who's new it's a great confidence builder and learning experience. (Lesson # 1 for me: I REALLY gotta figure out this "swimming" thing!)

Staff and participants all very friendly and helpful. I plan to do as many as I can.
