Mentoring Program Informational Meeting: Feb23rd
The 2010 Mentoring Programs kicks off this year with an informational meeting on February 23rd, starting at 7pm and located at Big River Running's West County Store.
All club members are welcome to participate in the program, either as a mentor, new triathlete, or general participant. Mentoring group training is expected to start at the end of March. Please email Yvette at mentoring@stlouistriclub.com with any questions. expires on 02/24/2010

Next Club Meeting: February 17th at 6:30pm at the Richmond Heights Community Center
The Club has invited Cindi Inman to talk about nutrition periodization. She will cover strategies on how nutrition can improve training and lead to better performances all year.
Cindi grew up swimming and swam in college at Bowling Green State University in Ohio where she received her BS in dietetics. She competed in triathlons for a few years during and after undergrad. Cindi then received an MS in exercise physiology from Texas A&M University. For the past several years she has concentrated on cycling and competed for 7 years. Although she took a few years off, she plans to compete again this season.
Currently, Cindi does research at Washington University School of Medicine in the Physical Therapy Program. Her research is an exercise study on people who have diabetes. She also does private nutrition counseling in sports nutrition, weight loss, and weight maintenance. expires on 02/18/2010
