The 2011 Destination Races have been finalized! This year we've picked a series of races covering all distances within a regional area to support. These races will have a group dinner the night before the race and a the club tent with food, drinks, and snacks:
Memphis in May May 22nd in Tunica, MS. 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run. There's also a sprint race on Saturday.
Kansas 70.3 June 12th in Lawrence KS. A half-iron distance race with a hilly bike course!
Stoneman and Iron Abe July 30th in Springfield IL. The Stoneman sprint and Iron Abe olympic are popular races staged just 100 miles away.
Pigman August 21st in Palo IA. This local half-iron has been named an ITU Long Course Worlds Championship qualifier!
Great Illini Sept 3rd in Neoga IL. A good mix of a half-iron, olympic, and relay.
USAT Club Nationals are still being discussed. Once again Nationals are being held in Myrtle Beach SC. If you are interested in attending this race, please let any board member know.
